Polispec Agri Solution Forage Harvester
Polispec Agri Solution Forage Harvester is an NIR system designed to continuously measure dry matter and forage quality during harvest. It provides real-time data for maize silage, grass, cereals, alfalfa and other biomass, supporting precision harvesting, silage management and field quality mapping.
Installed on the machine, the system continuously measures product quality as the material passes through, analysing maize silage, grass, winter cereals, high-moisture grain, alfalfa and sorghum. In addition to dry matter, it can provide the main nutritional and energy parameters of the biomass.
This replaces occasional sample-based checks with a complete assessment of the harvested material at the most critical stage: harvest. Real-time data supports decisions on harvest timing, logistics, product destination and silage preservation.
When measurements are georeferenced, Polispec can generate field quality maps that reveal within-field variability and identify where the greatest nutritional or energy value is produced.
The platform integrates with ISOBUS and precision farming systems. Its hybrid design also allows the same sensor to be transferred to other machines or used as a portable analyser, maintaining analytical continuity between the field, harvest and raw-material management.

The system is supplied as a Plug & Play solution, directly connected to the ISOBUS terminal (VT) in the cab. The Polispec application is integrated as an ISOBUS implement via a dedicated object pool, allowing complete system control from the on-board terminal.
No additional devices are required: a single cable connects Polispec to the VT.
This configuration ensures simple installation and allows for quick system transfer between compatible machines.
A dedicated control unit manages the software and communication between the Polispec sensor and the ISOBUS terminal. It is recommended when greater flexibility is required between machine-mounted and portable use.
This configuration allows you to collect data directly from the machine and make it available for analysis, traceability, business management, and transfer to cloud platforms when required.
In this variant, the system is configured with an installation solution compatible with both applications. The standard forage harvester configuration is adapted using a flanged optical probe, designed to operate on both the flow of chopped material and pressurized pipes.
This allows the same system to be used on different machines, maintaining analytical continuity between harvesting and distribution.
This solution is particularly suitable for those who operate on multiple phases of the agronomic cycle and wish to maximize the use of the instrument without duplicating their investment.
The machine-installed system can also be configured for portable use using a dedicated kit, allowing analyses to be performed directly in the field or on raw materials.
The kit includes a tablet, wireless connectivity, batteries and a charging system, as well as an adapter plate for portable use of the instrument. Polidata software and licenses for specific calibration curves are also included.
This configuration allows the same instrument to be used in different contexts—from the machine to the field—ensuring analytical continuity and greater operational flexibility.
Each Polispec Agri Solution application includes dedicated software modules designed to suit its specific operating environment and make the instrument easy to use.

Poliprocess is the software module designed for integrating the Polispec system into agricultural machinery and processing plants. It fully manages the acquisition, processing, and contextualization of NIR data during operations.
The software is compatible with CANBUS and ISOBUS architectures and uses a dedicated application on an ISOBUS terminal (VT) as a user interface, allowing direct control of the system from the cab.
